Deduce? I can tell you what I’ve picked up from hanging around in florist shops, if you’d like. -tilts his head, grinning at her for a moment- Coral’s a mix of red and yellow- yellow normally signifies friendship, pride, and the like, while red roses are the most commonly given, signifying romantic interest, or passion- coral’s a mix, if my memory serves me right.
-he twirls the rose in between his fingers, breathes in its smell- Although normally it’s the guy who buys the roses- are you trying to upstage me?

[ shrugs and gives him a grin ] So I was kind of looking forward to stories about the god old days when you were in second grade and your classmates were busted dealing meth… or something. I don’t know. Definitely not the opposite of shanking. Whatever that is.
